1987: Awarded Third Prize for the Wedding Cake Category in the "National Best Decorated Cake Award" competition organised by Lever Brothers (M) Sdn. Bhd.

1988: Invited by Lever Brothers (M) Sdn. Bhd. to stage presentations of cake decoration throughout Malaysia.

15th April 1989: Created a cake replica of A'Famosa when Malacca was announced as the Historical City. This cake replica of 6 feet tall, 14 feet long and 9 feet wide was the largest charity cake of Malaysia.

1989: Awarded First Prize and "Best Decorated Cake Award" in the "National 21st Birthday Cake Competition" organised by Lever Brothers (M) Sdn. Bhd.

1990: Created the world's largest and heaviest "Lion" Cake in conjunction with the 25th Anniversary Celebration of the Malacca Lion Club.

April 1990: Awarded Third Prize for the Pastry Showpiece Category in the "7th FHA International Salon Culinaire Food & Hotel Asia".

September 1990: Awarded Third Prize in the "Foodex Hotelex Cake Decoration Competition".

1990: Awarded First Prize in the "Master Cake Decorator Singapore Competition" organised by Rich's Products Corporation Ltd.

December 1990: Completed the "1st Overseas Chinese Baking Course" of Taiwan.

October 1992: Invited by Lever Brothers (M) Sdn. Bhd. to Jakarta, Indonesia to stage a presentation of cake decoration.

1991 - 2004: Interviewed by Taiwan Bakery Magazine. A feature of his work and striving story was also made in the "Masters of Creative Bakery Magazine" published by Taiwan's International Master Bakers. Besides, he was also interviewed by newspapers and magazines of Malaysia, China, Korea, Indonesia and etc.

17th August 1993: Invited to stage a presentation of cake decoration in the "Masters of Creative Bakery Exposition " held in Shanghai, China. This exposition was co-organised by the Taiwan's International Master Bakers, Taiwan's Golden Cake Co. and BakerKing International Enterprise Corporation.

1994: Awarded Third Prize for the Pastry/Bakery Showpiece Category in the "9th FHA International Salon Culinaire Food & Hotel Asia".

1995: Published his first cake decorating book entitled "Unique Cake Decorating".

1995: Invited by Da Yi Baking Utensil Ltd. of Taiwan to stage a presentation of cake decoration in Taiwan.

1995: Invited by Lever Brother Masterline of Thailand to stage a presentation of cake decoration in Thailand.

1995: Invited by Baker's Kingdom International Inc. of Taiwan to stage a presentation of cake decoration in Shanghai and Hangzhou, China.

May 1996: Invited to produce the Asia's tallest cake in conjunction with Mother's Day celebration. This cake had a height of 33.5 feet and a weight of 4,562kg.

September 1997: Produced the world's largest Lantern Moon-cake measured at 16 feet in height and 10 feet in width.

1999: Published his second cake decorating book entitled "Unique Cake Decorating Vol. 2 -- Cake of Festival & Life".

1999 - 2002: Invited to act as a Judge at China's Baking Technique Competition (National Level).

1995 - 2004: Invited by Rich's Products Corporation Ltd. of the United States of America and Puratos Ltd. of Belgium to stage presentations of cake decoration in US, Belgium, China and various countries of Asia.
